The School
THE New Farm Holistic Health Centre has operating
in the Centre of Brisbane for over twenty years. The
centre is devoted to health and fitness services and
educational programmes, and is operating from two
major CBD establishments. Our experience provides
us with the knowledge to evaluate the requirements
which makes a successful therapist and our programmes
are structured accordingly, placing emphasis on professional
approach, communication skills, practical tuition
and clinical experience.
The Courses
These courses have been specifically designed to
train a multi-skilled practitioner to meet the growing
market demand. A wide knowledge and understanding
in the various application of natural medicine is
taught by professional practitioners applying their
clinical experience to provide the student with the
practical and professional skills.
Employment
The Holistic Centre courses are nationally accredited
courses. Graduates will be eligible to register with
the
relevant associations and further to apply for work
in
our growing network of clinics, and Fitness Centres.
First Aid Certificate
First Aid is a prerequisite as part of the Certificate
IV
and Diploma courses. Students will be directed to
take this course with other organisations such as
Queensland Ambulance or the Red Cross who offer
short first aid courses.
