osteopathy
What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is the most complete 'hands on' approach for the treatment of pain and restoration of health.

Osteopathy is a government registered medical discipline specialising in the assessment, diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal pain through the application of 'hands on' techniques. In Australia, Osteopaths are recognised as primary care practitioners and as such, are trained to carry out standard medical examinations and recognise pathology that requires medical referral.

Osteopaths have 5yrs of university training and specialise in the use of 'hands on' procedures including:
  • Joint manipulation and mobilisation
  • Tissue specific massage, stretching techniques and trigger point therapy
  • Myofascial releases and craniosacral therapy
